The One Block Women Have When Losing Weight and Getting Back In Shape

One common block my client's experience is believing they do 1 diet and their weight gain, health and fitness will be fixed forever.

But losing weight, and getting back in shape is never a one and f do one framework.

It is evolving

After working 1-1 with women for 30 years, creating transformation in health, fitness and weight loss along with improved confidence and happiness levels, I noticed common patterns that were emerging.

I call them the 6 levels of change;

The Pre-Contemplating Wonder Woman - has no awareness that she has a problem. She is not looking to make change at this time in her life.

The Contemplative Wonder Woman is aware she has a problem - It may be weight gain, loss of body shape and strength, no energy and she is starting to think about ‘making change’. This may be looking at what programs are available to help her achieve her goals.

The Determined Wonder Woman - decides YES I am going to ‘make positive changes to my health and fitness and she starts to prepare. This involves creating the plan, getting organised with what she needs to be successful, and is excited about what is about to start.

The Action Wonder Woman - takes the first steps to change. She begins her health, fitness and wellness journey. Often excited, motivated and looking forward to "getting back" to her old self.

The Relapse Wonder Woman - has an unexpected event that stops her in her tracks. This could be illness, injury, life changes, time-poor, or extra duties laid upon her and this puts her in a very delicate position.

Does she STOP?

This unravels back to the first 3 changes - you may go back to pre-contemplative (give up), contemplative (curious about what now) or determined (preparing and planning for your return)

The Mastery Wonder Woman - achieves her deep desire to be fit and healthy and healthy body weight. She has maintained this for 6-12 months and understands her body - what it does and does not need.

She has the mental strength and the experience of pivoting when life gives her an unexpected event. She is a changed woman.

Where are you currently in the 6 levels of mastering your health and fitness?

How do you come back from a relapse?

It is all about planning and pivoting to enable you to ‘bounce back’

When you are able to ‘get back in the game.

Yours in health
