Eight weeks, one direction

Not another crash diet. Not another number on a scale.

Stronger for Summer is eight weeks of training consistently, eating well, moving more and recovering properly, in the run-up to summer and everything the Christmas season throws at it.

Your weight might change. So might your waist. But success here is measured on strength, fitness, energy, mobility, habits and consistency, because those are the things that actually hold.

The scorecard

Five daily behaviours. Up to 35 points a week.

Train

A planned workout, or movement that counts as one.

Nourish

Protein and whole foods on the plate, not perfection.

Move

Walking and daily movement, however it fits your day.

Care

Hydration, recovery, and something kind for yourself.

Mind

Keep one small promise to yourself, and keep it.

Bronze 20 to 24 points

Silver 25 to 29 points

Gold 30 to 35 points

No points are awarded for losing weight. The behaviours earn the points, because consistency is what carries you past week three.

Pick your level

Three ways in. All of them count.

The right level is not the most impressive one. It is the one you can finish every week without negotiating with yourself on a Thursday night.

Start

3 planned workouts a week

New to this, or coming back after a break.

Build

4 planned workouts a week

Training already, ready for a bit more.

Thrive

5 or more a week

Consistent, and looking to push the ceiling.

What is included

A high-protein eating plan

With real guidance on protein, fibre, hunger and the emotional side of eating. No meal you have to hide from your family.

An interactive workout calendar

Strength, cross-training, cardio and walking, core, mobility and recovery, laid out week by week for your level.

Three levels, one challenge

Start, Build or Thrive. The right level is the one you can actually complete, not the one that sounds most impressive.

The Success Journal and Scorecard

Eight weeks of tracking the five daily behaviours, so progress is something you can see even in a slow week.

The community, on Facebook

The locker room, not homework. Emoji check-ins, Friday Wins, Sunday medals and women who get it.

Dana Dares and Sunshine Tickets

One small dare a week, surprise prize draws, and recognition for the things that actually deserve it.

The eight weeks

A theme a week, and one Dana Dare.

Small, specific and doable. The dare is never the whole week, it is the one thing that makes the week feel different.

Reset

Start where you are, not where you think you should be.

Dare: A 10-minute walk after dinner, three times.

Nourish

Protein, fibre and whole foods, without counting every gram.

Dare: Build a breakfast with about 30g of protein.

Strong

Muscle and bone density, and why progressive strength matters now.

Dare: Try the next weight up on one exercise.

Move

Cardio, walking and everyday movement for your heart and your head.

Dare: Add 1,000 steps on three days, or one extra 15-minute walk.

Mind

Discomfort, discipline, and who you decide you are.

Dare: Do one thing just outside your comfort zone.

Understand

Cravings and emotional eating, looked at honestly and without shame.

Dare: Pause 60 seconds before one habitual snack and ask what you actually need.

Restore

Sleep, stress, mobility and the recovery that makes the rest work.

Dare: Go to bed 30 minutes earlier three times, or pick your own recovery ritual.

Stronger

Retest, reflect, celebrate, and decide what continues.

Dare: Do something you couldn't or wouldn't do in week one.

The Summer Starting Line

We measure where you are in week one, then test the same things again in week eight. Not to judge it, to prove to you that it moved.

  • Weight and waist, only if you want them
  • A 30-second sit-to-stand
  • Push-up level and reps
  • Single-leg balance
  • A 1km walk, timed or by effort
  • Your own 1 to 10 on energy, strength, fitness, body confidence, sleep and wellbeing

The final question is the only one that really matters: how are you stronger?

Women who have done one before

My weight had plateaued and wasn't getting anywhere. I am so proud of myself and I have kept the weight off since doing the challenge which is fantastic!
Jenni, in her 50s
I feel 100% better. It has made a huge difference in how I feel about myself. I have kept the 6 kilos off and I am really happy, I can wear shorts again!
Vicki, in her 50s
I have given up smoking cigarettes, feel stronger and am so happy I decided to look after my health. It was my 50th birthday gift to myself.

Before you sign up

Is this a weight loss challenge?

No, and that is deliberate. Weight might move and so might your waist, but no points are ever awarded for either. The scorecard rewards the five things you actually control: training, eating well, moving, recovering and keeping one small promise to yourself.

What if I miss a week?

You pick it back up. Eight weeks of imperfect showing up beats three weeks of perfect and then nothing, and the whole scoring system is built to make that obvious. Come back quickly is the only rule.

How much does the challenge cost?

The challenge itself is included in your Live Longer Online Health Club membership, so there is nothing extra to buy. Membership is AU$97 a month with a free 7-day trial, or AU$997 for the year.

I'm not fit enough to keep up.

That is what the three levels are for. Start is three planned workouts a week, and plenty of women begin there after years away from it. The right level is the one you can finish, not the one that sounds most impressive.

Do I have to be on Facebook?

No. The community lives there and it is where a lot of the fun is, but everything you need to do the challenge is in the members hub. Plenty of women do it quietly and finish just as strong.

What equipment do I need?

A resistance band and a pair of 2kg dumbbells, the same as everything else in the club. Nothing else, and no gym.

Eight weeks are going to pass anyway.

We start 20 September 2026. The challenge runs inside the Live Longer Online Health Club, so joining gets you the challenge and everything else with it: the workout library, the live classes, and the women who make it stick.
